About Jonathan Hogarth

Jonathan is a hosta fanatic! He has been cultivating and caring for his diverse collection of miniature hostas for years. His passion for these plants has seen him create what is now Hogarth Hostas, showcasing his plants at many prestigious flower shows. The shortest of introductions for our hostas…

Jonathan holds the national collection of small and miniature hostas which are all grown in containers and pots. The first documented small hosta was in Japan during 1911 and called Minor. Collecting small hostas has grown massively in popularity over the last few years.

Orders, Payment and Delivery

Please always contact us prior to placing an order so that we can check our stock of hostas. Please also place your order through our contact page or via the email on our contact page. Orders will be dispatched seasonally (April to September) and will be shipped bare root (without soil).

Postage and packing is £4.50 for all orders under £55 and free for orders above £55. We are only able to ship our hostas within the UK!

Payment should be made by cheque or bank transfer to: Hogarth Hostas, 25 Simons Lane, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 3HG.

With new legislation, all postal plants will carry a Plant Passport number document to show accountability for health.

You may want to grow your new hostas alongside alliums as this deters those slugs and snails!
